Malenia is an optional boss, which means players can complete the game without ever facing her, but can you call that a win? Malenia seems impervious to standard tactics and cannot be overpowered by multiple summonses. The only way to beat her is to become good. Just like one player who’s now helping others to defeat her.
Known as Let Me Solo Her, you can find this player’s summon sign at the doorway to Malenia’s realm if you’re playing on PC. Once summoned, the player will appear naked, except for dual katanas and a bucket/urn on his head. Although he may not look like much, looks can be deceiving. This player will then proceed to beat Malenia, while the others stand back and watch in awe.
While Reddit is going crazy as people try to explain their own experiences with the mysterious naked hero, the skepticism of other users was soon laid to rest as videos surfaced of the interaction, showing just how the battle goes down. The video is so impressive that it’s even given rise to a few memes.
A few hours after the story started spreading on Reddit, one Reddit user announced that he was the secret hero everyone was talking about. Reddit user, KleinTsuboiOW, announced that he’s been helping countless tarnished defeat Malenia by battling her butt naked with a jar on his head. What a hero indeed.
